My formerly dainty variegated blue mist shrub (Caryopteris x clandonensis) is crowding the blue-flowered New England aster, which is also jostling the yellow \u2018Knock Out\u2019 rose. \u00a0The larger plants have conspired to swamp a perfectly innocent lavender and are trying to suffocate a pretty little sedum. \u00a0If I want to stop the madness, I have to start transplanting.<\/p>\n
